Permanent residents settling in Sarnia-Lambton now have a new resource to help them thrive in their new community. The Sarnia-Lambton Newcomer Hub, launched through the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership and funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), is now available to offer personalized support for newcomers as they navigate life and work in the region.
The hub provides access to mentorship, employment advice, and entrepreneurship support tailored for permanent residents. Whether you're looking to connect with local employers, strengthen your résumé, explore upskilling opportunities, or start your own business, the Newcomer Hub can help you take the next step with confidence.
Over the next three years, the hub will serve as a bridge between permanent residents and the local economy, helping newcomers establish careers, build networks, and develop a lasting sense of belonging in the Sarnia-Lambton area. Services are designed to be approachable and practical, with a focus on helping individuals align their skills and goals with the opportunities available in the region.
Newcomers are encouraged to reach out directly to start a conversation and access free one-on-one support.
