The Ontario Together Trade Fund (OTTF) helps bridge the financial gap for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ontario looking to:
The OTTF covers up to 75% of eligible project costs and places emphasis on initiatives that align with the province’s priorities, such as supply chain security, trade diversity, and economic self-reliance.
Eligible projects must be distinct from regular operations and completed within two years. Applicants must be prepared to invest at least $200,000 into eligible activities. Examples include capital investments, process improvements, or technology upgrades that increase your ability to compete in domestic or interprovincial markets. Projects that address gaps in Ontario’s supply chains or help businesses pivot to new markets are prioritized.
Beyond funding, applicants gain access to additional services through the program. These supports may include expert advisory services, help navigating compliance and regulatory approvals, and assistance with accessing skilled talent.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the fund is fully committed. A self-assessment tool is available to help determine your eligibility before applying through Transfer Payment Ontario.
