Sarnia-Lambton has been selected as one of only four Ontario communities participating in the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) Pilot. This strategic initiative will strengthen our local economy by connecting skilled newcomers with in-demand jobs and providing a direct pathway to permanent residency.

The REDI pilot program is led by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program and delivered locally by the Sarnia Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP). This pilot is a significant opportunity for employers looking to fill persistent skills gaps and build workforce stability with long-term hires. It also helps ensure Sarnia-Lambton continues to grow as a welcoming, vibrant, and competitive region.
